The business hours of the collection agency are fairly standard; eight-thirty to four-thirty, one hour for lunch and two fifteen minute coffee breaks. Then there’s the one mandatory late evening each week, ending around nine p.m. or thereabouts, and a half a day Saturday once or twice a month. The purpose of these working hours is to get the opportunity to pester you when you’re home. This is a fine idea, if the agency already has your current street address on file and the collector doesn’t need to find out where you live.
