Nice looking skin Min. It reminds me of Armoured Alliance. I have to post the skin information soon so people can get started on them.

Oh and a custom 32x32 skin can be created now as well and will be used if double size is viewed.

wonka: naw, I just saved it as a bitmap so I wouldn't lose any quality ..

elvis: it was modelled after AA a bit, I really like the way AA looked. but all the graphics are custom.

nova: yikes? .

sj: don't be a dork .... I just blocked those out so I wouldn't have to bother modifing the graphics for them.

and how people respond to this posting will determine weither I bother finishing this tileset ... or any other tileset I decide to try and create for that matter.. its alot of work to put together a skin that doesn't look like dogmeat ... and if people won't use it .. there is no point in wasting my time.

It's looking pretty good min, I think you should complete it since you have done so much work on it already. I do have a question, your tank graphics look smaller then the default, does that mean it has an "invisable" border that can be hit by bullets (same as current tank size). Guess I'm sure wondering how this puppy worked in the test trials.

Even if the tank image and border don't match up perfectly (which they don't anyway in the default game), this is a very nice skin with some nice interface additions.

as sad as it sounds....

id have to agree with ren, when he stats that the little lines beside the ammo, are cool, and would like to see them in 1.14 whether this skin is used or not. Would be a nice addition, even though the original bolo did nto have them.. adding them wont affect the game at all, just give ppl an idea of how many shots or what not they have left, instead of just a green bar. Great idea min, and i hope elvis adds those.. fuck i cant recall what you would call them.. Also, min i think maybe you should take away the VERY LAST one.. on the very bottom as it represents nothing, just to make it more precise...

I love the new image for trees. in a map with tons of trees, it would look kinda cool when your hammered :)

for the tank size, if it is a bit smaller than normal...maybe a little red line showing the outline in which the tank can be hit, and have it as the "forcefield" ....so theres no miscalculations.....

the tank shown used the original bolotank as a base for the object ... and then I simply changed the colors in a few places, did some pixel editing, etc .. so technically it should be about the same. but I honestly can't say how it play tested since I didn't hack it into the winbolo client ... I have a little webpage that generates the center part of the screen from the tileset I tell it to use ... I figured I'd wait until 1.14 for actually implementing it ... I'm also open to suggestions as far as how things should be changed/modified ... its intended to be something people use .. so in my opinion, it has to be useable ... if you guys think some aspect of it isn't then feel free to mention it ... I've made some slight modifications to things already Which I will post shortly.

p.s. If elvis would like to include this skin in 1.14 when its released, in any form, I'm willing to do the work required to get that going.
