MacBolo

Some very interesting |-|acks by the MacBolo'er Cool Fool:

This weapon, the flamethrower, spews large bursts of e across a wide area. The flamethrower is extremely inaccurate, and each burst does very little damage. The best application of the flamethrower, therefore, is to lay down a carpet of flame when you see an incoming LGM. It also works well when you are pursuing a fleeing tank that has sustained damage and is doging too quickly to be hit with bullets. The range of the flamethrower is large enough that it reaches from one quadrant to another on a Chew Toy-sized map.

The Rear Turret is purely a defensive weapon. When activated, it uses the pillbox firing algorithm to automatically target nearby hostile tanks. When it acquires a target, it fires with extreme rapidity, although, like all the extra weapons here, it does not drain your ammo supply. The range of the Rear Turret, designed to throw off pursuit, is approximately 10 squares; long enough that you could have no armor at all, but still manage to keep the enemy from engaging.

The Rocket Launcher is my own weapon of choice. As the name implies, it unleashes salvos of ly anti-tank rockets toward your target. These rockets are very damaging, and work just as well against pillboxes as tanks. Each rocket is equipped with an IPF (Intelligent Proximity Fuse). The IPF measures the distance from the target to the rocket. If this distance is decreasing (the rocket's getting closer), the IPF does not detonate. But should the distance increase, the rocket will explode. This way, you can fire a rocket at a tank, the rocket gets closer and closer, passes a few pixles away from the tank, realizes that it's getting farther away, and ignites. The downside to this is that if you're facing away from the target when you fire, the IPF will see that it is getting far away and explode in your face.

Ya gotta love this one! The Air Strike, when called upon, launches a flight of ground-attack planes to destroy the enemy tank. The planes are equipped with air-to-ground missles and twin 30mm cannon. When someone uses the Air Strike, you better plant them pills fast!

Maybe someone can duplicate them for Winbolo...

You do know these are just modified images right? Duplicate them would be pretty easy with MS Paint.

Feb 05, 2004 23:47
lol! This is like that time when i posted a pic of the "winbolo invisihack", and someone (i think ren, or some n00b), actually thought it was real and sent me an email request 4 it :D

Why did you have to go and spoil the fun, Elvis?

I was hoping some newb would pay me a lot of money for the hack....
Feb 07, 2004 18:02
Btw, a newb(Syphon) has been using the name Cool Fool(with the lines through the o's) I think someone should tell him he can't use that name, since a lot of vets are going to confuse him with the Macbolo'er Cool Fool. I think he only got the name because of this thread.

Feb 07, 2004 23:20

YOU CHEAT ME! If there were such things, I would have them first. Then, before anyone else knew, I'd join a 'net game, and USE THEM ON YOU!!!!

lol, Lynk.

All I did was steal all your bases. It isn't cheating. It's called winning the game.
