interesting how people seem to let ren have control of their game bots ... Ren seems to think that somehow having control over the .us game bots will force me to give him op's on .com ...... news for ren, and anyone else who may wish to use this trick in the future, once our policy is complete, how you get op's will be fully detailed, and this isn't one of the acceptable paths.

once my final bot is complete... i dont think it will be leaving .com either... unless of course they ban me too. and i am meaning my game bot, once he is fully functional.. im still working on him. (this is besides dzbot)

What's gonna support dzbot? Cable, DSL, or satellite? Just curious.

well right now he is on extreme high speed, 4mbs. I am also currently working on him with a couple shells... progress is very slow, but he will be up and around sometime soon. Also, i am debating on upgrading my internet connection at home to the next level, and if that is done, he will probably just sit on my own box, and inet conenction rather then someone elses, using a shell,.

:idea: In a non-sarcastic tone [for once] I think that it's interesting to hear of your progress with your bots, but we are straying from the issue. Please post more about this in the "updates" forum

Oh by the way. Ren is telling the truth about pawnybot... The reason I removed pawnybot for now. Is I have issue with my bot being on two different ircs with different folks being able to kill games from each other without the other irc not knowing who killed the game. So until sheeps make this upgrade or I decide .com is better controlled then, no pawnybot. Unless someone can persuade me otherwise.

you know you could have a simple script put into the kill function that says if ($server == irc.winbolo.com) { halt } and nobody would be able to kill games from that server, and in my opinion the everyday peon or newb should not have the power to kill games, or you have what happened a few weeks ago or so when ren killed a 1x1 with skywalker because he lost, and didn't want to lose points for whatever reason.

I have to agree with SJ on this one, why are you letting people who are "untrusted" kill games? ... I really don't care weither pawnybot stays on .com or .us ... the part that bugs me is ren trying to use that to force me into giving him op's.
