LGM Kills?

Maybe LGM kills but I can understand if thats too hard to integrate. There could be many fields for that, I imagine due to all the ways LGMs can die.

LGM kills would be pretty cool. But the way it looks right now only LGM deaths are recorded.. For example if you shoot a pill while someone else is repairing it, do you get the an lgm kill? winbolo doesn't distinguish who killed it. I suppose tracking which bullet caused the explosion which killed the LGM is possible..

For direct LGM hits maybe this would be easier. But then do you have two log entries?

Joe just lost their builder.
Joe's builder was sniped by Canuck.

Heh heh. It WOULD make some cool stats..

But as far as a shorter-term feature addition, I think it would be interesting to track a players lgm deaths on the stats page, another aspect of a players skill to view. Since the data already gets passed to wbn, it might not be too hard to incorporate (knock on wood).

I think that we boloists should be far more environmentally aware and bonus points should be awarded for parsimony when using trees.

Also style and wit points should be awarded automatically if someone says something that is especially deep or makes you think or laugh.

Most of all, provision of emotional support in stressful alliances, should
be rewarded.

I just think for each player, it should record how many times their own LGM has died along with how many times they have killed one to see how careful they are with their own LGM and others.

The hard part about keeping track of how many times they killed someone else's LGM is that it's not easily decided in a game how the LGM died. LGM's die as a result of some sort of explosion.

Well.. what caused that explosion? Was it a bullet? If so, from what tank or what pillbox? Or was the explosion caused by mines? Who gets the kill then? The player that laid the mines or the player that shot the mines? What about when a tank explodes or when someone "tracks over" your LGM so that they draw pillfire to their tank in hopes of the richochet causing an explosion?

It would be easy to keep track of how many times a player has lost their LGM but to insert the number of LGM kills they have would take a lot more work.

Could LGM kills be tracked the same way tank kills are tracked?

I want this because I like stats! Mmmmmmm, data.

"Average number of lgm deaths per complete game" would be a useful and easily-implemented statistic.
