Small problem logging in

Mar 13, 2004 02:31 Small problem logging in
It used to be that I didn't have to type in my user name and password when I wanted to reply to posts etc. on .net---it did it by itself. For some odd reason, the automatic login no longer works. Here's my list of shit I do:

1. Open up Internet Explorer from a shortcut on my start bar.
2. Type in "www.winbolo.net" in the URL bar. Hit Enter.
3. Notice that I'm not logged in. I type in my name and password and click the "Log in automatically" option.
4. Repeat steps 1-3.

Not sure if that helps any, but I didn't think it could hurt.

Nothing has changed in the way winbolo.net handles web logins since the "automatically login me in each time I visit" functionality was added. (30 July 2003)

What web browser are you using? Are you accepting cookies?

For some reason it's working now. I'm not the only one that uses this computer, so my mom or my sister may have changed something. Thanks for your reply anyhoo, Elvis.

Heh, Min. Kinda ironic, dontcha think? My question is... why bother asking MM why he bothers? Believe me, though... I know where you're coming from.

If he wanted to get his post count up, couldnt he make some 'wh33rde' topic of his own and keep posting on it?

Well, he can't merely be an ass on his own. He needs to spread his asininity to other people as well.
