mapmaking problem

ok this will sound noobish... but i really dont care. i downloaded the "mapmaker" for winbolo but it doesn't seem to let me do anything.... i dunno mabye i have just got the wrong thing.... the file's name is boloreich any suggests?

What do you mean it doesn't do anything? Does the application start? Can you open existing map files? Have you tried the tool bar at the top to change tools between selection and drawing shapes?

Yeah, make sure you have the "Draw" button (a pencil icon, I think) selected not the "Selection" button when trying to place road, grass, or any other feature on the map.

yeah.. um it opens but it is under an acdsee program...but there is no bolo mapmaker. there is no "pen" and no maps. just a folder with nothingh in it. it also keeps asking me to upload pics but it wont take existing maps...mabye i need to reload the file i dunno :? :?

Sounds like you might be trying to open a map directly, if this ACDsee Picture Viewer is opening instead. Try to download BoloReich again from ftp://ftp.winbolo.us/brains/boloreich.zip and unzip that into its own directory. There is really only one file (includes some maps as well), and you should be able to double click on the BoloReich.exe program.

When you open it, you should see a screen like this

I don't really think of myself as all that mature, and I'm a little surprised that you'd think I was mature. Perhaps it has something to do with the stick up your ass.
