Damnit, I can't get this bit/byte thing straight. I was assuming he had a 1 MEGABYTE/sec connection, which would rock. I just did a free test on mine, and it came up with 3.1 mega-BIT.

heh, 8 bits in a byte ... each byte is also considered a "character" so sometimes people will say "characters per second" which is bytes per second ... etc ...

1mbps is plenty fast enough it would be nice for 2mbps connection but it works for me.

download is 636 kilobit s/second, it wouldn't do the upload speed though.
