I think you guys should add an Avatar option, for you guys that don't know an Avatar is a small picture (usually 100x100 pixels) under your screename on the forums. Also have pictures in signatures enabled. It would be greatly appriciated!

Quite frankly, if you want that to be your siggy, I'm glad pictures are not allowed cause thats annoying

'Avatar' is an incarnation of a deity or other spiritual, supernatural, or mythical being in human form. I don't know who decided they would use the word 'avatar' to describe little pictures on the internet, but it's quite moronic.
Call 'em thumbnails or whatever.
Well every forum site calls them that, anyways it doesn't get that annoying, check out www.xoxideforums.com/index.php , they have this feature... But I'll make a new sig since nobody here are computer nerds...

I don't know why it bothers you, its only moving between "~suicide~" and
"@t winbolo.net" , nothing too big...
If they choose to implement sig's then they must also enable the option to turn off viewing of sig's when a user is logged in. I use this on a car forum I visit sometimes because, frankly, 99% of those sigs serve no purpose but to be a blowjob for the users ego (and to waste my time loading).
Which brings me to a reason why avatars and pic sig's aren't allowed: bandwidth. Can you imagine how much more bandwidth this site would draw if all of a sudden each person who visited the forums were downloading hundreds of .gifs? Yeah, a lot.
Hmm, never thought of bandwith, I guess if winbolo doesn't have that much then I could see why theres no sigs, but avatars aren't that big and I don't think that will use alot of bandwith, I like avatars and sigs for how to reconize a person and I think they are fun to mess with. Anyways my sig only uses 14kb, which doesn't take to long to load, but I guess its up to Elvis to decide...
don't externally linked sigs and avatars load off that server, not this one.....or am I just drunk again. just don't allow uploading of avatars.....make the bastards work for it.
You see the thing about it is. that it just doesnt make sense. First you have to drain the oil and make sure the pieces fit before you can go any further. Second things second, rat traps will not make for replacements on such a complicated matter. You must make sure you have the right sze neck before you can even think about changing your toilet springs. The facts are in here, you just have to look. Thanks for your time.
I checked my phpbb board, both avatars and sigs are linked from the external site and not loaded onto the server.
