BETTER MESSAGE BAR

I hate it when I click on the message bar and the cursor doesn't automatically kick in because I didn't click on the top of the bar. Fix it so that when you click *anywhere* on the message bar, you can start typing without highlighting what you typed. deleting, and then retyping.
