I've been given the chance to take a mini-vacation, should I take it?

Mmmm, I'm prolly getting a paid vacation in two summers, and *maybe* one this year (/me loves Heritage Canada!)

To get a more definite answer I'd need more background details---where your vacations going to be, your financial situation, what would happen if you didn't take the vacation, etc.
But I hardly see why not, if none of the above matters.

I wasn't saying that you were stupid for asking the question, I was genuinely wondering why you'd post it. Example: You had a slight delimma, and a vote from a random bunch of folks would tip the delimma. If that was the case I'd be curious what was creating the delimma.

I find this to be extroardinarily odd due to the fact that you yourself presented that, in your eyes, some of us people in the irc channel have no life and waste it away talking about what you feel is non sense and a waste of time, yet you value these peoples opinions on where you should go on vacation? If you truly need to ask ".us" where you should go, seems rather hypocrital of you, hence that to me, this reflects lack of desire and goals and truly a "no life"situation for you. When people have an oppportunity for Vacation its typically which of the places on their list would they like to visit this year.
Nova Hit at home on the elements of discussion as far as finances and accomodations, but seems this vacation is taken care of for you. Find an atttraction or landmark that truly inspires or interests you and live your own life dont ask us. Unless your words are truly eaten and you havent one as you declared we didn't?.....

GO TO ALBERTA. They take Canadian dollars and have NO provincial sales tax, AND the largest mall in the world!

Alberta is no fun. And the mall is over rated. It may be the largest mall but a lot of the stores are just doubled and it just gets old fast. :wink:
