Help, mIRC troubles

Hey... I'm at a friends house trying to get into mIRC, but it's not letting me :x, I've joined irc.winbolo.us irc2.winbolo.us and sheeps.irc.winbolo.us... it's telling me that no one is there :\
I just tried to get into a different server and it worked, so... can somenoe help?
