Pillbox bug?

I was playin around in an open at Chew Toy 3, and went for a suicide run on the dual pills on the south side. I came down from the top, right inbetween, got hit once or twice, but then the pills started getting damaded, and both eventually died. I had my sound off, so i don't know if they were shooting eachother or what... anyone know? It was a local game, no network.
