I want clarification on illegal content. The bittorent thread talks about illegal things. People talking about speeding tickets could be qualified as illegal content. What's ILLEGAL here?

illegal - prohibited by law or by official or accepted rules

Talking about speeding tickets isn't illegal, speeding is. Talking about bittorrent isn't illegal, downloading illegal content is. Neither speeding or downloading illegal content can be done from this website. so, therefore both are irrelevant, however, posting kiddie porn is a actual illegal activity, and therefore prohibited. If someone posts a link to a copyrighted or illegal material, that link would be subject to moderation. All of this should have been pretty damn obvious, why do I have to state it?

Here I'm finding reference to deleting posts, but yet nothing clearly defined as to what can or cannot be deleted. As for locking I see “Mods may lock topics that are inappropriate*, with mod vote to unlock.” From that I take that only “inappropriate” threads may be locked or moved to the moderator only forum.

These lines that start out with “No posting of/on” don't state that a mod can or cannot do anything about them.

The whole thing lacks detail and specifics.

Ok, I don't think It's a very good idea to start flames with min, he never tires.

I believe that there is trouble with min as a mod and op for a number of reasons.

1. He is too emotionally fragile. For example, If I talk shit about LRL in .us, he'll just tell me to stfu and get on with life. But if I talk shit with min, he will start getting extremely offended and bitch about all sortsa shit. Your not aloud to speak out, and show your opinions. Min, grow up, everyone is going to give you shit no matter what you do in these forums, and you have to show self-restraint. This was stated by Nobody earlier in "THE END" and I strongly agree with him.

2. He does not respect others and their opinions. When I asked for clarification on the illegal content section, he immediately replied with a rude and disrespectful response, accusing me of discrediting his policy. I have seen this happen not only with me, but with many others as well. Min, even if you don't like somebody, you need to show them a decent amount of respect if you would like to be respected as an op.

Now like LRL, I know I'm going to get bitchfested by min and all, and I'm not going to add too much defensive shit in, since it's rather pointless.

Min, you need to respect others, toughen up a little and mostly, grow up.

Just judging by your actions in #winbolo it sounds to me like you've got plenty of time and energy. And there's really not much use in stating your opinion if you're not willing to discuss it. Or even back your shit up.

Discuss, flamewar, call it what you like but we do occasionally provide facts in our post that back up our points. Read just about any debate around here and you'll find quotes from logs, quotes from other people's posts, quotes from the .net log, and calls for evidence when it's not provided. And it'd be nice if you'd the same instead of just yelling "MIN SUX!".

my assumption is only the posts that are inappropriate would be deleted, but if you don't like the wording ... why not make a suggestion on how to change it so that it makes more sense? ...

uh, same as above, if you don't like the wording (which is definately not ideal) suggest a rewording? ... I look forward to your suggestions.
