I vote that we all make a conscious effort to NOT request all. More games are ruined that way, and it should be stopped. I can count on one hand the number of times I've requested all, and I get into teams every game. There is no need. In fact, that feature of winbolo should be eliminated, and you should only be allowed to request one person at a time, and only have one request out there at a time... i.e. if you request more than one person, your previous requests become null and void.
one thing that the request all is good for is the fact at the end of a game, when everything is taken, and the teams all join together, the game ends, and the bot spits out another map.
i think that we should keep it because how else are you to get rid of a strict game? the only other way would be to give everything to the other team, but that takes to long
but on the other hand, the request all thing happends in the middle of a good game, and it ends, which some times can be a real piss off.
Thats why you WAIT for people to come into the game and then lock it and set teams, so that you dont get these noobs that not know anything, request all and ruin a perfectly good map.
so its kinda a thing you need, but hate.
i dont real know which way to go. So im going to say that there should be a timer set to that function so that only after 8 mins that you can use it, that way there is none of that allying everyone unless everyone wants a different map and game.
another thing you could do is say in the beginning of the game "ally anyone" so that you dont get that request all thing. That way you only ally one person.
At least you're honest about it.
is there as way so that when the pop up prompts you to neither accept or decline, there is a way to see if player requesting is already on a team, so that there is one split second you can see if they can whether allied all
or, see if they clicked request all for allies
this brings up i think the wish thread from a long way back with color coded teams so you don't mess up the game for newcomers
Which brings up that it'd be much more practical to get all the bugs fixed first before you start adding in more junk into the mix.
