It seems to me as though somebody with multiple accounts made a number of "yes" votes. They jumped from 1 to 5 overnight.

There is safeguards built into the forum software to prevent multiple votes.

What about multiple accounts? Does it prevent against that?

Note: This is merely a question. No Flames involved.

Apparently not, I just voted "no" twice. And stop putting those little nitshit "DON'T FLAME ME OMGZ!!!!" at the end of your posts. Give us folks at least some credit.
Oct 25, 2005 22:06
Well most posts I, or wait, most posts anybody makes are immediately followed by a buncha flames.
Oct 25, 2005 22:12
I'm trying to decide which I'm more skeptical of: if that's really true or if you're going to stop flaming by putting up a sign. Hmm....

I guess Elvis didn't read the fine print on that "Equal Vote 2000" program.

Back on topic people. Anybody have an idea of what to do about CT3. Could we possibly set a limit on the amount of CT3's played a day? Bot owners?

The reason CT3 is played so much is because its a basic, and a classic. Yes, it does get annoying when thats all you play. But if you don't like it don't play it. No one is forcing you to join a CT3 game. It helps a lot of new players get the basics of a strict down...that is of course if your not playing against a player like Renny who's mastered every trick CT3 has to offer. Chew toy 3 is sweet in small doses imo.
.

Exacuse me. Ren mastered every trick on CT3. Ren learned half those tricks on CT3 from me, and its the map Ren hates to play me on.

CT3 is a classic. Well all Chew toys are classic, why not try CT 96 or 98 or CT3 filled or CT2 or CT hole or Q's ct or CT (fill it in), and so on...

You people actually play all 80 million of my CT maps? I'm shocked! (After about #3806 i started to run out of ideas) :D

There's only about 10 or so that I like, a lot of them were made when I was still learning, but If ya like em go ahead play them for a change.

And, wtf people? Any idiot can make a second account to vote with, come on. (Watch)
Oct 26, 2005 03:56
Pwnt. Check the votes now. It just goes to show that all polls on this forum can't prove anything. Hm, Perhaps Elvis could make it so same IPs can only vote once? And don't get mad either, any idiot could have done this. (Even fidores can make multiple accounts)

To answer the original question of "Should CT3 be played every game?", I think it will ultimately come down to each individuals taste and goals. Naturally, any player who plays only CT3 will not be as equipped to deal with some of the tactics and strategies needed for other maps, or for that matter the ability to adapt to new maps on the fly. Even so, many people may feel they would like to only play on CT3, since that is what they are most familiar with and enjoy. I see no problem with this. For myself, my goal is to be a more "well rounded" bolo player, so I prefer to mix it up. CT3 is definitely on my list of maps to play, but so are many many others, and I enjoy the differences from one game to the next.

We could ask similar questions about playing open games... Some people only play opens, and I see nothing wrong with that if that is what they want out of bolo. For me, it is the intensity of a real game that keeps me coming back for more.

A nice way of working in snide remarks about open games.

If you press the submit button more than once before the signal goes through and the results of your vote show up, you can get in multiple votes. I think that's what Nova meant.
