Installation problem

When I try to open bolo after the setup installation, it says : " Loading of one or more sound files failed " and after there's another window which says : " Error setting up direct sound " :cry:

You will need to give us a little more information.

Operating System
DirectX version
Anything else that you would think could be helpful.

To determine what version of directx you have installed go to, Start, then click on run. In the dialog box, type "dxdiag" and hit enter. You might want to consider posting all the information under the system tab in dxdiag.

On another note, this probably would have been a good topic to post under the technical help section. I would move it for you, but to make sure you're able to find the thread again, I'll leave it where it is.

Make sure no other application is playing sound.

If that doesn't solve your problem, you might want to try disabling your sounds.

To do this, rename "BoloSounds.bsd". This might work. Let us know how it goes.
