"Coincidental lag" How much is too much?

I was just playing a player named Psycho. The entire game didn't lag at all and it seemed no one was able to take pills away from the guy. Soon I realized why when I tried to take some pills away from him. My computer would lag. Just enough time for him to take a couple of bases then again when I caught him at sea the lag gave him enough time to get out of my sight. When I brought it up everyone on my team quit game and he blew it off with a comment that had nothing to do with the subject. I assume the same thing was happening to my team mates because they didn't finish game and they were 5. One of my team members was Death and I would like to know his side and anyone else who was in there so we can get this guy banned incase this is really happening. Anyone with infomation If it is at all possible to do this?

First off, you need to be a lot clearer when explaining yourself.

Secondly, have you thought about any of the game stipulations? What kind of connection are you on? What kind of connection (or ISP) did Psycho have? What kind of connection (or ISP) was the game being served on? How many total players were in the game?

There's many reasons why he was able to do this, more than likely he has AOL and was playing on a broadband server with 7 people in the game.

You little piece of shit. :twisted: Why am I mad? Cheating is a serious accusation and should not be thrown around lightly. Just becuase you were losing a game doesn't mean I was cheating. I do not use AOL. I have a 1.5mbit cable modem. I was not experiencing anything unusual in the game. I don't believe I was even in it at the start. I had an ally that was doing most of the work. He had like 12 pills around this base. When you accused of me of cheating in the game, I did not blow it off. I told you to blow me. I even mentioned it on irc. I know I played Bolo when I was younger and people of all ages should be encouraged, but maybe someone should check this guy's ID. I must be such a cheater, as I am ranked 100. I shouldn't even have to defend myself as I am innocent until proven guilty. I love Bolo, and your false accusations of cheating, although completely unfounded, might make people not want to play with me. Why don't you capture some packets next time I am "cheating" and make public the log? Why don't you forge some netstat output to "prove" your case? If this were the real world, as in business, you would be considering yourself served. You slanderous little bitch. So next time you accuse someone of cheating, why don't you offer some empirical proof. Alright, I'm ready to hear some more of your whining now.

Let me give you a metaphore. Say I own a zoo. One day, this kid comes into my office and tells me that the caged panda broke out of the cage and started flying around the park on a broom yelling "I'm gonna condem all of you to eat anchovies for the rest of your life!!". Should I waste my time and money setting up a full investigation, and set up video cameras all over?

What do you mean by the service provider? That is usually the person who provides you with access the internet (ie, via the modem, dsl, cable, etc). They can not be reached through this website. If you mean by the person in charge of this website, and who regulates the Winbolo gaming experience, he already answered your previous post stating that you were incorrect.

Furthermore, keep in mind that, if you post publicy, then expect the conversation to be public. If you want to keep other people from responding, then email your concerns directly to those whom you want the answer from.

Well, in acknowledgement towards your comments, I use to play back in 97-99 and then stopped when all the people vanished off the Mac client :wink: so I don't really know if any one can really call me a newbie :( . In addressing your comment about whether or not I was talking about the hosts, this is obvious and I was sure about it’s rightful communication towards the consensus. As for fi's comment about the flying panda, really, where in the heck did that come from :lol: you are a funny guy fi. You could have said it in fewer words but instead you chose to use pointless comments about flying pandas and zoos and compare me to a child when in fact you are the child in throwing cheap shots like this. Just because you think I'm a newbie so what. I guess you think you can talk like that to me. This to me just shows your weak side. Ok, if that was your intention, then perhaps next time make sure you are much clearer about it then you have been in your previous posts and threads. As you pertain to be a student for the Masters of Business Administration Degree, you would of course agree with me that communicating effectively is a very important skill in the business world.
