Players on multiple .net teams

Feb 24, 2003 02:35 Players on multiple .net teams
Let's say someone registers on multiple .net teams, and then their primary team competes against their secondary team and they are in the game with an alliance that falls under one of the .net teams. Will that affect team rating since the winning and losing .net teams both have the same player listed, or does it know which .net team the player is playing for by comparing the alliance to the team list to find which team that player qualifies under? :?:

From the help section: (http://www.winbolo.net/help.php#4.3)

Why didn't my team get ranked?
As Winbolo.net is an automated ranking system and does not rely on any human game reporting certain conditions must be met for the game to be considered a valid team game. The criteria for a game to be ranked is:

* One team must have captured and own all bases.
* No non-participants can have captured any bases or pillboxes.
* All team members on both sides must be allied at the end of the game.
* At least one base or pillbox must be captured by two members of both teams.

If they are present in both teams then rule 3, "All team members on both sides must be allied at the end of the game." will not be met, therefore it will not count as a team game.

What I'm talking about is what if one of the players is on multiple .NET teams? Is that a bad idea? My concern isn't from leaving the alliance in-game, it's how .NET will determine which .NET team won/lost if a player on one in-game team is on both the .NET teams?
Feb 25, 2003 10:21 Clarification
Allow me to clarify with an example.

Players can be on multiple teams. Say for instance there are two teams Team 1 and Team 2. They consist of:

Team 1: Player A, Player B, Player C
Team 2: Player C, Player D, Player E, Player F.

Player C is in both Team 1 and 2.

Say Team 1 plays Team 2 in a match. This game will not be ranked as rule 3, "All team members on both sides must be allied at the end of the game. " can not be met. Player C can not be allied in both teams at once in the game so there for it is not recognised as a WinBolo.net team and ranked accordingly.
