Hi my tracker dos not work for the last week :evil: :x :cry: :!: I am using tracker port 50000 tracker address I am using is tracker.winbolo.com when I hit refresh I get an error message that says error connecting to tracker. help me!!

In Windows:
1. From the start menu select Command Prompt
2. In the command prompt window that shows up type tracert tracker.winbolo.com

In Linux:
1. From a console window or terminal type traceroute tracker.winbolo.com

i did what you sade than all this info came up

64.159.76.111 is the address of the game tracker. So your computer can reach the tracker computer. It has to go via 10 other computers first and it takes 3 seconds to do so.

To confirm the exact error message you are seeing in the WinBolo client is: "Tracker Error: Unable to connect" - Is this correct? How long does it stay trying to connect?

Two things to try:

1. In the same command window where you performed the traceroute try typing in: telnet tracker.winbolo.com 50000 - Do you get any response from that?

2. Can you view: http://tracker.winbolo.com:50005/ - This is the web version of the same tracker information. It is hosted on the same computer as the tracker.

Additional: If suggestions 1 and 2 don't work can you perform a traceroute again immediately. Do you still see the last line containing: 64.159.76.111?

mike ... contact your internet service provider ... the bad ping times your getting mean that there is some problem with the connection .. perhaps your ISP can shed some light on it for you.

The server that runs the tracker and many other things is currently down. You can use the active games page here on WBN to find games. While this server is down irc.winbolo.com is also down along with www.winbolo.com
