So what else to try? Undo any recent software updates or installations, perform the usual sweeps for virus, adware, and spyware and reinstall your client; running through its settings to look for hindrances. Or maybe you got evil-haxored by the terrible jhood.

What is the message you get after trying to join the channel?

I was messing around in IRC the other day and joined with a IP similar to yours. Chances are I got the entire ISP banned because the op at the time didn't know how to properly use a ban mask.

Interesting. If typing "/join #winbolo" doesn't open the channel, you're IP must be 'shunned' from sending commands to the server.

In other words, you can connect but you can't do anything else.

Again, UD must have shunned your ISP rather than the single IP I was using.
