Does anyone know how someone could execute a hack within MIRC and do something that would make it look like someone else did that thing? Any ideas?
Its possible, especially if that person has been running mirc commands as instructed by other people.
We used to have a fellow around the community known as lethal, he was known for teaching the newbs valuable lessons. Such as "don't trust people so easily" on multiple occasions he took over people's mirc programs, and had enough control to completely destroy their systems from that point.
Lethal however did not destroy anyone's system, just freaked them out becuase he had control of their mirc, he could have easily however formated their harddrives or various other nasty things.

if you think you have been 'hacked' uninstall mirc, delete the old folder, and install a fresh copy in a new folder.

Lethal's ownage of AJR had to be one of the funniest things I've seen on IRC. If only I had the log.
