Just created an Account and cannot join a game!

I just signed up for an account and want to get started playing WinBolo online. I used to play all the time back in the day and wanted to get back into it, but everytime I try and join a game I get the following error:

There was no response from the game you tried to contact this usually means 1 of 3 things.
1. Address and port fields are incorrect
2. You are behind some kind of firewall preventing UDP access
3. Check that your version of Winbolo is the same as the game

I have version 1.15 of WinBolo downloaded. I don't think I have a firewall blocking it but not sure were to go to check it. As for the address and ports not sure exactly what is supposed to be in those fields.

I would appreciate it if someone could help get me going!

I had this problem when I first created my account. I changed the "UDP of Bolo on this machine" to 0 and it worked for me, but then again you might just have a different problem. =D

When I go to internet game and press refresh and the different games come up. I click the game that I want and press join, but an error occurs. It says:

Invalid username/password combination
Please correct the problem or disable WinBolo.net and try to join again

I don't know how to disable the winbolo.net.

Anyone help me out on this, I'm dying to get in the action!

On the first screen in Winbolo where you select internet game, select the Winbolo.net button near the bottom instead.

On the screen that pops up fix your password to match the player name you plan to enter into the UDP (internet) Setup screen (or uncheck the option to use winbolo.net).

The password you enter is the same password that you used when you registered your player name on the winbolo.net.

And... I recommend you join the irc chat room if you are having difficulty. You can probably find someone there ready to help you in real time. You can find info and links on the chat room at winbolol.us

Just remember to type "/ignore Acro". You'll find it improves your #winbolo experience immensely.

Except that you always type /ignore CF when you log on and then you wonder why you're unable to 'fit in'.

My irc don't work ive tried connecting and it says invalid aguement
