T1 Internet

WEEEE, im at purdue university right now, they have a T1 i believe......i was downloading at like 500kb/s lol. At home on the cable its usually around 200! Heh, well thought i would share that with you.... Heh, im takin classes in flash..cant wait to get home and start makin movies/animations for my website! Well ill be back soon. Oh, unreal tournament with 15 lan members.....haha winbolo can kiss mine! WOOT

actuly, a DS1 (t1) is 1544Kbps (thats in bits per second) so 1544/8=193 kb/s (bytes) because there are 8 bits in one byte. So you have more download at home then a t1 :) The university probably has a ds2 (t2) or better, most universitys have fractional DS3's. Just for imformation about the difference between bits and bytes.

haha ok smart guy... Ya, someone just told me that it was a t3 lol....hmm, i dont see how my cable is faster than t1, i thought t1 was faster? lol, but it looks like i dont dont much about cable or dsl or t1's.2.3.... anyway, heh i like that pic of u on indiana's website. :lol:
