isnt tere an esier way 2 get password of the day because i dont wanna have to downloard irc and then pay for it just 4 da password--please correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure that, yes, i have 2 pay :lol: :P
IRC is completly free and you can just go to the site and no cost or anything and just ask for passwords by typing in potd. hope i helped.

mirc is "shareware" ... its not required that you pay for it ... but as with anything shareware(winbolo is included in this btw) your asked you pay if you use it alot.

May I point out that simply going into the irc channel and typing potd is not enought. Familiarize yourself with the rules of entering password games. Because failure to follow the accepted rules will get you banned from either the IRC channel(s), or from the servers who host those games.
Basically the rules are for when you enter a passworded game:
1) If you did not start the game (ie, cause it be created by the server), then wait until teams are organized and everyone is ready before actually playing. Be Patient.
2) If someone ask you to leave (and you did not create the map), then leave without a fuss. Many times people organize games with set players, then start a map to play that game.
3) No hacks allowed.
Other rules:
1) Do not kill (ie shut down) a game in which other people are still playing.
2) Do not start an excessive amount of maps in which you do not intend to play.
Any understood rule that I missed that a newbie should know about? I think I'm going to go ahead and put this on my webpage as an easy reference.
Yes, I beleave thats a very good point fi.
I've personaly seen way to many new players join and just start in a game, even when others are in and waiting for teams. This normaly results in "mean" behavior tords new players.
