What port should i use ?? i think my firewall is runing my connection!
Tell us a little bit about your firewall and what exactly you are trying to do.
Are you trying to join games as a client or as a server? The requirements are slightly different. WinBolo uses UDP to talk between clients and servers.
As a client:
WinBolo must be able to send to the server on the port the server is running only. So you must allow your firewall to send UDP packets out on that port. You must set your firewall to allow packets back in on the UDP port you have specified. (By default this is one of the random "high ports" , it can be manually overwritten in the "Join by Address" network game setup by changing the port in the "Address of WinBolo on this computer field"
As a server:
The server must be able to send receive UDP packets from clients on the port specified when you create the server. This is done via the -port command line parameter if you are running the dedicated server or via the "Address of the WinBolo Server" field in the join by address window. You must also allow your firewall to be able to send out UDP packets to the different clients that join on the port they have specified.
This is assuming you are running the server on the firewall machine yourself. If you are running it on a machine inside your network but not on your firewall/network gateway then you will also need to set up NAT's/Port forwards to ensure the data is sent to the correct host on your internal network.
How to do this varies from firewall software product to product.
is that a paste out of the manual elvis?

I don't think so Min. Usually I give a reference. Maybe it should be added to the manual.
