Vista Related Bugs...

I currently run Vista Business 32 bit on the largest of my servers. I have run WinBolo on a few diffirent boxes and came up with the same results.

The game itself seems to play fine!

However, I have noticed that on the left hand side where you'r tools are, this area sometimes goes black on ya.....

This does not happen very often.

The other bug I have discovered is, when you host a game (on the internet), after selecting the type of game, map and whatnot, the game will crash...

It will do this every time making it impossable to host a game...

Ya, thats a bug we noticed that occurs in vista, I've seen it happen in xp as well, but very very infrequently (like twice in a year)

Have you tried hosting a game with the commandline utility instead of the ingame creator? ... at times in past the ingame game starter has been broken. Its possible it may not function correctly in vista, try firing up a game using the commandline server.

I run Windows Vista 32bit Home and it happens everytime.

How do I start the command line version?

Goto start > run > cmd
Type in the location of "winbolods.exe" and following that the command.
For the list of commands and how it works, just put the location the first time, and it should give you something to run off of.

To fix the black-box problem in vista, do the following:

Right-click on winbolo.exe and view properties.
Select the "Compatibility" tab.
Check "Disable desktop composition".

i too have a vista related bug to report. sometimes, when i join a game, usually an open, there is this tank driving around. over the tank it says "derami" and this player also appears in the player drop down! it's the worst bug ever and i cant figure out how to get rid of it. elvis can u do something?
