LGM death issues?

While watching the log between brando and DS on Transatlanticism I noticed that DS threw a fit at about the 14:25 mark. Brando's LGM is coming E from farming a tree (#2) in a cluster similar to the below. G is grass, the numbers show positions of trees, and W are walls.

Tree #1 is shot, DS is in spot #2 after brando's LGM farms the tree and then heads back E so that it's against the wall and technically in square #3. DS shoots the tree in #3 but the LGM doesn't die.

So me and Hellraiser go and test it out. Sure enough, it appears that if a tree is by itself, and the LGM is against the wall, the LGM will not die even if it's technically in that square. However, if the tree is part of a larger cluster, the LGM will die if the tree is shot.

Whether this is a WinBolo glitch or a part of the quirks that Stu originally worked into MacBolo is beyond me, but I thought people might like to know this for future matches.

That is the same sort of thing as when an lgm gets caught in the corner of walls and somebody walls it in. At that point, all four walls can be shot at and the lgm won't die.

That's interesting, but there's tons of little quirks like that. I can try to test in Bolo.

Its simply a point the the LGM in directly in the invisble line where u cant kill it U can but you tank was to close..i u would of waited n stayed back farther u could of shot it For example Simple pill takes, there the point where the u can shoot the pillbox and the pill cant shoot u...Yup havent posted in awhile :]

I used recording sofware (Hypercam2). Then I converted the avi to gif using media-convert.com.
