make sure your firewall has ventrillo allowed...

voice chat while playing winbolo.... nobody will boot you in this dedicated ventrilo server so join up people....

If you want to check on the status of my Ventrilo server, click here. It should show you various stats such as daemon uptime, users connected, any user privileges a user has, pings of each user, how long each user has been connected, and rooms.

I'm also in the process of looking into an open-source voice chat alternative. Right now, unless you go with a Ventrilo provider and pay for one of their servers, you're limited to 8 slots. There have been a few occasions where we've hit that limit. I'd rather not have to pay (albeit, very very few dollars) every month to run such a service that allows higher numbers of connections.

For now, I've shut down my Ventrilo server and am running just a TeamSpeak 2 server. If tons of people complain, we can always switch back to Ventrilo but keep in mind it has a cap of eight connections, which I believe we hit earlier this week.

TeamSpeak seems to be a little easier to setup and initially get running than Ventrilo with downsides being no comments or chat rooms.

The test message feature works just fine and irc is what text based chat is for! I hope nobody complains I like teamspeak betta!
