Another retired player... how sad :(


Our man socrates has retired and just got done playing his last 1x1


i did the right thing by letting him win ... i had him spike and i was carrying 3 pills with my lgm and he was refueling on one base i died in front of him n gave him my pills backed off a lil bit and played on. It was a long game but worth it i could have easly beat him but sense it was his last game ever, i gave him some thing to rember

he said he did but, he was playing in an open today

I appreciate that you care about socrates and posted a tribute to him. I just want to say that maybe you should have considered letting him win and keeping it to yourself. If you did let him win you did a good deed but as soon as you told people about your good deed it became in my opinion and insult to a veteran of winbolo. He has been playing a long time and if he challenged you to play him in his last 1x1 he most likely wanted a real game not sympathy!!!!! You should have played your best or pretended to play you best and not tell him or anyone else. If I was in his situation I would have rather read that you played me in my last game and enjoyed it. It was a great game!!!! We will miss you!!! Whether you won, lost or let him win is really not a relavent issue and not worth bringing up. its that a good bolo player has left the game and we will miss him.
