Winbolo Boot Camp

Hey vets (and anyone with an opinion) - I challenge you to post ideas and training/mentoring opportunites (take a noob to CT3 for the afternoon) for those that want to start playing stricts or move their winbolo skillz to the next 'level'.

Here is what I found for the purpose of "boot camp" (which don't necessarily apply here - but still interesting):

  • teach recruits to obey
designed to turn an ordinary civilian into a soldier
weeds out those who cannot become soldiers
builds up the endurance and strength
teaches you to endure pain and bottle up emotions
teaches newbies the correct methods of saluting and addressing your superiors[/list:u:c16d956493]

I am indebted to many that taught me basic pill takes, directed me to strategy guides, pointed out my flaws, told me how to be a good ally.

Good Idea!

I was searching for a teacher before.

I still suck in stricts, but I learned some tricks/ dos/dont´s of a very good teacher (Hotcarl)

I think that´s a nice idea to bring more players to stricts and also to ventrilo

but I think two points are debatable

- weeds out those who cannot become soldiers

Everyone who want´s to be teached should be given a chance regardless of if she/he sucks or not.

- teaches newbies the correct methods of saluting and addressing your superiors.

"superiors"? they are better players but are they upper creatures you have to render homage to?

shes talkin super noob, like the ones that have no idea on pill takes or basic strad. stuff like that. so when they play stricts they dont get scaired off cus we yell at them.

the only advice i can give is just shake off the "mean typing" and keep playing stricts.

what happend to harl anyway?
