Just wanted to express something about open games: I don't consider there to be etiquette. Open is FFA, mess around, do whatever the fuck you want. If you want fair play and etiquette, then play strict or tournament. I am seriously sick of all the open game whiners. STFU or go home!
Also, my policy on banning is hacking-only for now.

There are sometimes Open Games with 10 or more players, but when I ask them, who want´s to play a strict, there is no one up

I feel dumber for even responding again, but I would just like to point out that I do make an effort not to fuck over a game. But it is just not worth the effort to try and keep an open game balanced. Calling out how many players a team has, switching teams, adjusting for pill counts, etc is just stupid. It is just inevitable that an open game will end up unbalanced, and the sooner you retards learn that the better.
whatever fellas. since most of the games are opens now it would be nice if at least sometimes we could make them more interesting and not just mass allying (either for max pills or max allies) all the time. im not appealing for some kind of "rules" about opens, just to the desire to have a challange, not to perfectly balance things, but instead when given an option in a game that might be fun to sometimes choose the road not taken and do something besides ally to hoard the most pills ASAP and crush the noobs. I nemo used to feel as you and care nothing for opens, but they just dominate so much of play im just appealing to any of the good players to try and make it more interesting sometimes. this allying of players to instantly have a huge pill advantage build a noob base and sit on it gets dull. but if you find it exciting so be it. i find that quite a few players will refuse to take too many allies or ally another player who already has a lot of pills if they also have a lot, correctly realizing that it will end the game or make it less enjoyable to just roll over someone. some games are indeed too crazy to bother with such intentions, but in others usually ones with around 6 players or less and not so many ppl coming and going it is possible to make a small effort to have a better game. glad u started this thread tho because perhaps we will see how others feel. if most upon reflection still just want total chaos all the time they can of course choose that. and thats all i want at least the vet players to consider, no rules just some restraint in the more slower paced games that often have established teams and play very much like strict games until someone remembers " hey this is an open, i can do whatever".
