Winbolo on my Macbook?

Yo yo winbolo homies. I just got my macbook pro and its great for what I need but there is one little problem... I CANT PLAY BOLO!!!

And well friends, that disappoints me... it disappoints me a great deal...

But I heard that there is a way to run windows on your mac but I dont kn ow how to do it...

Do I just install the windows disks onto my mac or what?

I NEED to play bolo!

You can do Bootcamp which is partitioning your hard drive and dual booting Mac OS X and Windows OR you can run Windows virtually in Mac with either Parallels or VMware Fusion.

Mine isnt leopard can I still do it?

Do I just need the windows install disk to do the bootcamp?

Unfortunately you do need Leopard for Bootcamp now. There was a Bootcamp beta for 10.4 Tiger but it expired. Bootcamp is fine if you are OK with dual booting. If you don't want to dual boot then get Parallels or VMware Fusion.

Well im just going to be using windows strictly so I can play winbolo... So I dont know probably just run it virtually huh? What are the pros/cons of dual booting vs running it virtually?

Well the pros are that you can keep running all your Mac stuff at the same time. The cons are that it's running two computers at the same time and it's a resource hog, so it will slow things down.

Nobody plays NuBolo, but its actually pretty easy to run WinBolo on a Mac with Parallels. I just played a open game on Leopard a few minutes ago and it worked pretty well.
