Copying names cause u arnt smart enough to think of ur own

dammit this is pissing me off........i play for like 4 months and all of a sudden this dude changes his name to M.O.T.H.....and starts tellin me he owns me and shit.....what the hell dude change your name to somthing eles because i AM THE MOTH and no one elese is.....every game i have played sence i was litle i have been known as the moth...i get over protective about my name and i dont appreciate it when people eho arnt smart enough to think of there own name steal mine...thats lame man lame........CHANGE UR NAME SO SOMTHING ELESE!!!!!! :x :evil:

Since your name is "the_moth" and his was "M.O.T.H" wouldn't it also lead someone to conclude that these are initials for something rather then just copying your name?

I've been getting this too, but I don't know how someone would be able to use my registered name in the first place. Why would someone want the copy someone else's name? It completely defeats the whole point of having a registered name.

well you know what I think............. I think that a can or RAID could fix this problem, kill all the annoying Bugs that buging people in bolo.

Raid is good at killing all types of bugs from Flys, to Moths, even bees RAID can do it all.

Did they have a star in front of theiur name? If they did not then they weren't using your registered name.

hehe ive just thought of a new sneaky tactic, (altough i probly will never use it) i just realized that when sum1 on ur team..say.. has a bunch of pills or sumthin the people on that team can all change their names to that person's identical name so that ever1 else is confused and cant find da real person.
hehe i would probly never use this though cuz i am da bomb and i am stayin da bomb so dont tuch ma name people cux its mine mine mine mine!!!!!!!! :P 8) :lol: :wink: :roll: :D

If they were logged into WinBolo.net when playing they would be given a star at the start of the name. Then you can be assured that the person who is logged in is who they say they are. You can not change your name to have a star at the begining of it.

Its really up to the other players if they are going to believe who you say you are if you have not been authenticated in WinBolo.net.

They didn't have a star next to their name, but their ip showed up after their name even though I had short tank lables turned on.
