WTF is this the xbox support forum? It's called RROD "Red Ring of Death" and yes I know how to fix it... you call this number (800) 4MY-XBOX and tell them. You didn't say xbox360 but I just assumed.

man, i went through 2 xboxes due to the red ring. i jsut send mine back to the factory and got a free one.

If it's under warranty, just ship it back to Microsoft.

If it's not, wrap it in a towel and let it overheat for 15 minutes. It should fix itself. :P No guarantees how long it'll last after that, though.
