Quick Keys for lgm selection.

Aug 27, 2009 00:37 Quick Keys for lgm selection.
One of the new features in 1.17 is the addition of quick keys for lgm build type selection, it has come to my attention that some people use the current default keys for other things and believe that you cannot change the quickkeys to something else.

You can change them. Simply edit C:\windows\winbolo.ini it contains the quick keys as well as all the other keys you use. 1.17 doesn't have a dialog yet for setting the quickkeys. So you can just manually edit them to something else.

This is for the small handful of people that use the number keys for pillview or tankview or whatever.

happy boloing.

Below is the new key setup dialog. I'll find some time to commit it this weekend hopefully.

This is blasphemy. What's next... press 7 to auto-lock your turret on an enemy tank? Hit F2 to automatically create a megabase so you and your noob ally can win a stupid 2x2? How about Alt-P to have naked pixies float around on the screen and tweak their nipples while you're refueling?

Hotkeys for build type is not in Bolo, so I piss on its existence in Winbolo and I accuse all who use it of sacrilege and/or general faggotry.

IBL is still a sore spot for you stumpy? Would have thought you'd have gotten over that humiliating defeat a long time ago.

No you don't have to edit the ini file anymore.

Version 1.17 (which was officially released this week) has a new key-config screen that lets you change the "quick keys" so you don't have to edit the ini file. If you press control+K in the client, you'll actually see the screen that sticks shows in his screenshot above.
