New Tournamet ???
Ive been thinking of a new tournament for fun. Im gonna throw out some ideas. Let me know what you guys think.
Im thinking of a 12 player, 4 team, with 3 players per team Round Robin Tourny
I was think of finding 3 other noobs to be captains. Find the other 8 players and the noob captains could do a draft to make teams.
Tourny Format
Round Robin
Each team plays each team twice
Each Game is worth one point for victory
Each Game is timed from start to finish to settle tie breakers.
The team with with the most points and the lowest combined Time has the highest rank and so on.
Each team will be ranked from #1 to #4 after Round Robin of play.
Playoffs
Rank #1 vs Rank #4 Best of 3
Rank #2 vs Rank #3 Best of 3
The two match winners play in Finals and the two losers play a single match for 3rd place
Finals
Finals is best of 5 match
Highest Rank has home map advantage They pick first map and alternate picks each game.
I feel if this goes off The noobs should run their team and do all the work setting up times and dates.
As stimpy told me "Tournaments are dick measuring contests"
So all the vets AKA the big dicks just gotta show up and do their thing.
So if anybody has any ideas or thoughts to perfect this tournament please add your two cents
