So jhood did a little digging and deduction and figured out something pretty disturbing....

apparently gb is actually a teenager and is posing to be his father (who he hopes to inherit a business from).

What makes this disturbing is whenver gb's mom walks in to stop gb from playing bolo all day...gb comes up with the excuse to us that his "wife walked in". So basically gb has freudian fantasies of his mom being his wife.

This explains why he has nothing better to do than play bolo all day and all night.... a Chinese version of ren if you will but with a minuscule portion of intelligence since we suspect him of being inbred as well.
