I played a couple of games against/with bluesnake today, and I can confidently say that he's playing with a hack. His tank drove at least three times as fast as the other tanks on the map, faster in fact than pillfire. This was not an isolated lag-burst; rather, it was a constant, controllable speed that lasted the duration of the game. Hellscream observed the same thing if corroboration is needed.

I would respectfully request that bluesnake be banned from winbolo.com and winbolo.us for this behavior, and that the bots' passwords be changed immediately. If he wants to hack in his spare time, that's fine, but my concern is that this took place in passworded games.

Mad Scout reported this as well in #winbolo earlier today. Thanks for confirming kax, I now just banned him from irc.winbolo.us

Until passwords are changed by the bots owner you can use sheepbot pw map option to desginate a password of your choice that is unknown by bluesnake.

yep i can confirm this....he used the hack almost 6 times in a game hence altering its course....glad hes been banned

I believe it is best to know if it's a cheat or simply some networking related bug, glitch, or error. I'm unwilling to endorse any sort of ban without feeling reasonably comfortable that it's not some sort of bug.

In any case I believe bluesnake should be allowed to tell his side of the story. Although I can see no reason why he should have continued to play when he realized this was occurring.

i can also confirm watching my friend yesterday zmansk8 in a match with hell and blue and sky i saw from my friends pill view that snake was going very fast when zmansk8 tried to shoot snake snake sped away very fast... i think snake whould be bannned from winbolo all together for using hacks

when i played with bluesnake hey does go fast but uncontrollibly, he can't control his tank so i believe this is a bug.

Comeon, do you really think bluesnake is capable of hacking into winbolo and making himself faster than everyone? Havent you been reading the way he writes? It takes alot of brains to hack into something, and has bluesnake in any way shown that he has the brain capacity to commit such an act?(sorry blue, no offense)Besides, if he can hack into the system, why stop there, why wouldnt he get back at his enemys, give himself unlimited supplies, make his pills unbreakable? Why, if he has this power, would he stop at speed? Speed doesnt really do all that much to win the game. Steal some pills here, eliminate the wondering enemy there. And if he does have a bug that makes him go fast, why cry about it, sure he'll tell people, dont want them thinking hes cheating, cause hes not, its not his fault hes faster. And why not use his power while he can? I bet alot of you would enjoy that type of power over the enemy. Sure it cant last, he knows that, but why not use it while he can, has he not expressed that he wants it gone? If he wanted to keep this power forever he couldve just avoided the whole situation, but instead he went out and told everyone about the problem, and asked them to help him fix it. I'm asking that you dont ban him until you have some SOLID evidence that hes really hacking or cheating, and doesnt just have a glitched tank. So what if hes faster for now, quite whinin and play the game, it will be over soon.

i suggest that bluesnake uninstall and reinstall winbolo. then we can investigate father than this. until then i do not think that there is any REAL proof that he's using a hack. innocent until proven guilty. yes, i agree with dauragon.

hang on a second...ok basically what hes saying here (i've translated it into english) is that he has gotten rid of the bug because saiyan showed him how and that ren is blind or sumthin becuz (no offense ren) blue just played him and he was not moving super fast. i was playing with him yesterday is well with i (believe) me, fabolous, saiyan and some non winbolo.net guy. at this time i do not believe that he was moving at lightning speed at all, in fact, he was moving normally like everyone else. also, like dauragon siad, where woukld bluesnake get a hack or make a hack like that? c'mon. i doubt anyone here is that smart to make a hack. except maybe a mod, i dunno. (probably not) and if he got the hack somewhere, where was that? after all, have YOU ever heard of a lightning speed hack before, cuz i haven't.
