id like to let everyone know that this issue of this speed hack can not be fixed it is impossible
it has nuthing to do with "hacking" the game
or the game itself
even if elvis makes a new version it cant be stop
i am positive of this
i have obtained this so called cheat and it will not only effect bolo but the muliplayer gaming community as a whole
ya elvis u gota get rid of the hack in the next version

the reason why it cant be gotten rid of is because its not a hack
It just ignores some packets, it tossses the packets out that it doesnt like, like whne the server sends "you have been shot" it ignores it. I dont know, something like that. if it is liek that, it can be fixable. Or maybe it just sends its own packets every so and so seconds longer than it normall y should... So i think the protocol might have to be changed a bit so it is more "hack proof" than it currently is

whatever happened to just playing bolo? have we lost the one reason we play this game? y is it that everyone is so worried about this shit that we cant enjoy what we do here. i have had no problems with this sort of thing. if someone is fuckin shit up in the game join another one and just play this game we all love.......just play some fuckin bolo. :evil: :roll:
High praise for your comments, pmg. I'm here to play bolo because it is a damn good internet game. It's not my (yawn) responsibility to care about all this other crap.
as far as i can tell, the hack somehow speeds up the processes of your computer. what the hack does to your computer on the clients end cant be prevented, but i believe it is possible for the server end to detect if a client is moving or behaving erratically and counter that
this has already been discussed in much greater detail in another topic
basically, the whole unmodded hack sharing fiesta really fucked things up on a large scale, im glad its come to an end
