Locking topics.

Min seems to be locking topics at random. This means that ppl who want to post something will have to start a new topic. This just creates a bunch of unnessessary topics that take up space on the winbolo server. There should be some sort of rule against locking soo many topics in one day. Why is min locking soo many topics? I think that this is an abuse of the mod's power and that this just points out that we don't need any fucking mods! Min should not be locking posts just because they are old. Some of them are still current issues that ppl still need to discuss.

I disagree with you Madd Maxx. Min has done nothing against the moderation policy.

I've followed the new policy to the letter, if you have a problem with one of the posts being locked that I locked .... your free to discuss its unlocking.

so, you have a problem with all the posts elvis locked as well? .. which were all similar in topic to the ones which I locked. so you have a problem with people trying to keep the public face new players see somewhat clean, so that they MAY wish to actually keep playing the game? ... so you have a problem with people who wish to do what they can to improve this community. why are you still here maddmaxx? .. you obviously have no appreciation whatsoever for the amount of work that people(not myself in particular) have put into this project. Canuck built the tracker, Elvis built winbolo, Thomas designed this website, I've done what I can to improve the community as far as creating utilities, and giving people ideas for what to create. so you have a problem with all of us? .... and about the comment on deletion that you made in the other identical post to this one ... have you even "read" the forum moderation policy? .... its becoming increasingly apparent that your just pissed off becuase your afraid someone may moderate your hundreds of posts. grow up maddmaxx, just becuase its the internet doesn't mean you can treat everyone like utter crap.

The ppl themselves are okay. It's the ppl once they have become mods that I hate. We don't need mods, and if we do, we only need 1 (elvis, he could just delete REALLY offensive posts). ppl should be allowed to discuss hacks if they want to! Also, what is elvis's email? I can't use the contact forum as winbolo.com is down.

how are the people different? ... do explain ... with some examples/proof of your statements as well ...

guess what, the reason there is more that one mod, is that way one person doesn't have to do all the work, why should elvis be required to do all the work AND program updates as well? .... its called delegating the menial tasks so that you can work on the more important stuff. all good project managers do it.

well, your free to discuss your opinion on hack post locking in the forum moderation policy area were this very question was asked ... but my guess is.... you've yet to read that post. I locked the hacking posts, becuase elvis did. just following his lead in post locking, so if you have a problem with the posts I've locked, well then you also have a problem with the ones elvis locked. why is it again that you only bitched about it once I started locking them? ... brownnosing? you've yet to specify the posts in particular you have issues with, other than general statements of how you think there should be no mods. but I expect you will again ignore most of what I've written and reply to one thing so I really don't know why I'm wasting my breath.... do you even "read" these posts before replying?

Very good, it does only require one person, but did you ever think that that one person isn't around all the time? More mods we have, the more civil we are able to keep the forums and more responsive the mods will be when something needs attention.
