Just wondering........do you think im still a crapy newb, or do yuo think im above that? i mean.....i dont wanna mention any names...but someone called me a newbie the other day.....am i? i really didn't think so...... :?

I don't think your a 'crappy newb' I think your still a little green with alot to learn still. In time, maybe you'll make people who think of you as such scorn the day. :) Always strive to be more then you are!

its how careful i am with my lgm...i always end up losing 1v1s (to players MY skill level...cuz im so careless with my lgm.... :( ...but i learned a cool trick just by observing something this guy "chompin" did...and works well...... :D

The prick KeyserSose (aka Wtc DZ) also called me a noob. He was mad because he couldn't break through my fortress in a stupid open game. Just yesterday, 'Don't Shoot' called me a 'sissy' twice. He was mad cause he was losing. I wouldn't do a double suicide charge with him .....hello.....I was carrying 2 pills. I did what any player should do...back off, build a pill, heat it, and destroy the charging enemy.

Players will call you names if they're aggravated. It's the quintessential small-minded reaction. Shrug it off. Don't stoop to their level, Q.

oh and acro...that game we played yesterday was awesome.........longest and best game ive had in a while.......the two guys we played against ("chopin" and "dont shoot") weakness was they always BOTH came to a pillwar on one side and left the other side undefended.....then theyd do it vice-versa.........it was a really good game.......(and i learned a cool trick from chopin, just by watching him) :)

It's a matter of perspective, Q. In the eyes of winbolo's best players, we both suck. BIG time. To noobs, we RULE. Based on what I've seen of the skill demonstrated by our best players, (our) skills are still very low. I'm afraid I have to side with min, but at the same time place myself with you. :lol: :lol: :lol:

thats tru..when you put it that way......but anyone who can drive shoot build ect all at the same time is considered "pretty good" or "okay" by vets, but then again, sometimes theyll say "for your skill level, you rock"...although sometimes that can be depicted as an insult :P :D :wink: but anyway...ya.......i see you point

...i dont care how good i am....and i dont care what any one else thinks of me...and i dont care if i lose a lot....i dont cair if imma noob.....the things i do care about is a good time at bolo. that should be all that matters. sure im no match to any of the top players or for that matter the medium players but i still play. there is a cure for not givein a f about what people think about u in bolo........play while drunk....hehe

All good points pmg. I think the bolo community will always be kinda primitive, akin to one big pecking order. The only way to get respect is to KICK ASS...and keep kicking ass. Otherwise, you'll always get dumped on. For people who are unable to improve past a certain point, think on this: your success or failure on bolo should have no impact on your self esteem!!!
