Deleted thread? Conspiracy?

As you can see in the pic below, on october the 8th, Elvis and canuck (there may have been others involved), had a discussion in a thread entitled "Details Soon". When I tried to view this thread, I couldn't not. It came up wit an error message of some sort (sorry, but i didn't gitta pic of this). What i want to know is:
-What was discussed in this thread?
-Why was it somehow made private?
-Why was it DELETED?
-Who DELETED it?
-Was it posted on some forum that is not visible to non-mods?
-Is there a mods-only forum?
-If so, Why?
