Yes ladys and gentleman we have another hacker on our hands here. I was playing a game just now when I witnessed krieg uberbringer take a bunch of pills that bluesnake had dropped so I was chasing after him and shooting him, I hit him at least 15 times and he didnt die, then when he heated his pill (I think thats the term) I stood behind him while he was on his base (which he was on for about 10 seconds) and had his pill shoot him at least 20 times....still no death. I am accusing krieg uberbringer of using an invincibilty hack. I know that bluesnake, Acro, Wolf, and few others witnessed his invincibilty. krieg uberbringer wasnt signed in to winbolo.net so I dont know if hes a member or not, but I did record myself bringing down the players menu and getting his IP, so I now present to you his IP address and ask he be banned from the servers. His IP is bgm-24-169-55-30.stny.rr.com if you need to see the video I can try to find a way to send it to you on request. I hope the others will comment on this as well.

While playing Winbolo for almost a year. and playing with erebus i have never seen him cheat.. Yet does he know how to cheat is the question ;) Anyway, Lag usually plays a factor in that Sgt. Just throwing out ideas..

whoa! nemo finally said something useful!!!!! Ahhh, i love that old "It was just lag" excuse! Since winbolo suffers sooo much from lag, you can blame almost any "hack sighting" on it (of course, it usually is just laaagg)
I tried to kill a couple players in that game, without success. I could hear 10 or more of my shots connect, but, alas, they didn't die. It was.....yes I'm going to say it........... LAG
From what I can tell... this happened on Halloween... so it's probably just a couple of poltergist mess'n wit ya....

finally someone belives me. I think the only reason erebus isnt under ANY suspision is because hes been playing for a while and has attained diplomatic immunity. I belive u to, but you got to consider to statis. It might be lag but I doubt it. An d if they have an invincable hack, how would he do it. The only posible I can think of is he put his winbolo program into a resource file and made the java or whatever it is to "IVVINCABLE." And I think opening a website by myself is hard. I think there should be some scanner that reads the winbolo script and sees if any modifyactions to it.
Hackers rewin are fun alover the internet. I can't belive that people do this to us. We are weaklings to them (sorry if you are efended, but it is true) and hacks should be tracked down and put in jail.

I find this very ammusing, dont be upset because ive been playing for years and have judged pill timings down to the second, when i left that barrage of pills i had ZERO armor left. if you think its such a problem notify my isp etc. etc. and yes it was most likely lag as i run a number of machines from my connection have a great day dumbass. :wink:

this is y u should only accuse a hack if u are 100% sure of it and u have proof.....dont be posting shit like this unless u know what your talking about....i think u just didnt know he was bus and now that u do your not posting because your wrong. but yes some people still have integrity in this game and i believe bus is one of them. and for God's sake man...when has posting a hacker in the forums actually done any good other than just take up needed space? ky i know your new ...and i know u got the differance between lag and hack...but with lag u can be running fine and others can lag....it happens. i dont think bus is going anywhere anytime soon unless he wants to.....

underdog has used the invincibilty hack a few times and openly addmitted to it, he said the last 2 digits of his IP change so he cant be banned. He explained the whole thing in IRC to sheeps I thin and was talkiing about how he changed something in the programming so its like hes always on a base. I'm not trying to play the blame game with underdog I was just giving an example of the invincibilty hack and how even players who have been around a while use hacks. I didnt see anybody laggind in that game even a little and my connection was also perfect.
Lag doesn't affect everyone in the game, sometimes it only affects one player, sometimes more.
Get Over It
the only real way to tell if a tanks been hit is if it moves when the shell hits it. a shell will push the tank, but a graphical shell (when your shell hits the enemy tank on your screen, but the tank that it hit isnt actually there. what you are seeing is the tank X milliseconds before, due to lag) will not. a good tip is to look at network info, and try to get a rough estimate of lag, then shoot ahead of the tank when you dogfight. much higher percent hit rate that way.
and yes, i do have the hack. havnt touched it for about a month. just cuz its new to you n00bs, doesnt mean we havnt been aware of it for a long time.
and i dont use it in any real game. i tested it in 2 games, and didnt even really play them, just run around and left. anyone who does try to abuse it however, including myself, or whoever, should be banned from server and irc server, imo
