Legalize that shit. It's safer than cigarettes. Legalize it so I can roll myself a fat blunt or a cigaweed.

Smoked any good motel lately?

Legalize it in canada too!! U can already carry small amounts and its just a misdemenor, lets take it one step further an legalize it! Btw, its a waste of our tax dollars keeping all the drug lords/potheads in prison. Both governments (Canada, and the us) claim that it's a gateway drug and will expose young ppl to worse, harder drugs (coke, crack, smack, ice, ectasy, heroine). If, however, it was legalized, ppl wouldn't have to go to dealers, they could just go to the corner store!! This would totally eliminate the "gateway theory". And if they legalized it, they could make laws saying that you'd have to be of a certain age (i didn't say anyone would follow these laws but.....).
LEGALIZE WEED IN CANADA AND U.S.!!!

Look at Amsterdam. They're not rioting to have heroine legalized. Marijuana isn't nearly as bad as alcohol imho; however, drugs like cocaine and even crystal methamphetamines are horrible drugs that marijuana shouldn't even be compared too. I'm all for the legalization of the whacky tobbacy. I was reading the U.S. statistics census of 2002 and marijuana compared to other drugs had high arrest rates, for things like possession or parole violations. However, as far as crime or delinqeunt acts caused by marijuana the numbers in comparison to hard drugs or even alcohol are miniscule. Besides, there's nothing like kicking back with some friends and smoking a few fat bones, watching a movie, listening to music, heck playing bolo. Of course it can and would be abused, but what substance isn't? The government and it's some of it's policies on the drug war are useless too btw. There's no need to eradicate thousands of acres of coca leaves in places like Latin America with our tax dollars or even fill up our prisons. I'm getting off the subject, but some people take the war on drugs too far. Parents mostly. I cant blame them, but once again, it's their duty to educate and raise their children. Like that commercial "Parenst that use Drugs, have chidren that use drugs." It's true. But, my parents never used drugs and I used to get wasted all the time on everything and marijuana didn't lead to it. I just don't understand why alcohol is legal and marijuana isn't. Take a look in your local library and do a comparison between the two. You'll see.

hahaha oh boy man Sky - I just posted 5 minutes ago that it amazes me that ppl talk about politics but here I am getting suxed into this by your post!

I believe all (yes all) drugs should be legalized - that everyone has the royal right to fuck their body up as much as they want and that to tell someone else they can't do what they want to their own body is arrogant.

Yeah, you can still make it illegal to kill someone or do bad shit under the influence, but let people do as they feel like doing to their own damn body.

Ok, I know 98% of you will dissagree with what I just wrote, but that's the beauty of knowing that none of us can make a difference in national scale politics so I'm not gonna bother try to respond to anyone's dissagreement about this issue as it won't make a bit of difference if I convince you or not.

I agree wit u fi! The way it is now violates our rights and freedoms!
Nov 11, 2003 18:12
fi,
I think if all drugs were legalized there would be total anarchy. I think marijuana wouldn't lead people to insanity. Just imagine if all of America had a national "lsd" day. That would be some crazy stuff. People thinking it's the end of the world etc etc. Plus teenage pregnancy would sky rocket. Unemployment would increase a shitload, causing more homeless. Bleh. Marijuana as opposed to other drugs isn't so harmful to both a person's body and environment as hard drugs like herione and crystal methamphetamine.

we would have to implement laws or, as sky said, it WOULD be total anarchy!
Nov 20, 2003 00:57
Or, just don't legalize it.

 Here's my thoughts about da ganja:
I used to be high on life and sieze the day.
Then I started seizing 2 days then 3 all the way to a week
It just wasn't cuttin the same buzz
so now my friend Mary-Jane gives me a little help
Marajuana should be acceptable under controlled circumstances only
you should not smoke the la-la-la in a car and drive because you'll think the little evergreen hanging from your rear view mirror is an acutal tree, swerve through the lanes, and cause all sorts of havoc.
In a controlled environment, the worst thing that will happen to you if you smoke too much reefer [random shout-out to Knight_of_the_Nee goes here] is that you'll have the best damn sleep of your life. Thank you for listening to my rant 8)

The drymouth kinda sucks, though....., but there's nothing like pot to make eating an ordinary bag of Doritos seem like a culinary Nirvana.
