hey ud, you know what, there is this thing called "commonsense" you obviously ignored that when you made the post using saiyans account. Did you use your brain before going "hey saiyan posted his pw to a channel accidently, lets spam all the accounts i know he has with that pw and see if I can get it ... I'm so cool" you think its all fine becuase you apologized, and that you "didn't know" well, in canada as you know, ignorance of the law is no excuse, as a part of this community its your job to know what the TOS says before taking large acts of utter idiocy. yet you continue to say "I didn't know, oops, poor poor me" just like you misread the forum policy that said "no deleting any posts .. ever ..." yet .. you did it anyways .... there is a trend forming here. And I want elvis to say something. I certainly don't think your account should be removed, but I still think something should occur so that idiocy of this nature in the future can be avoided. and I shall repeat a important part for you, since you have a habit of skimming what I post and ignoring the actual points. "Ignorance of the Law is not an excuse" so quit acting like it should be.

Your right. If i were to kill someone, and I was a rich celebrity or premier, I should not have special privaledges to get away with it. Although, this may not be the case in the US (hint OJ Simpson hint) but in Canada, as far as I know, that is how it works.

But what I did was not murder, it was not rape, it was not even armed robbery.

What I did was went into my friends house on April Fools Day, and wrote I AM THE GAYZOR HEAR ME ROAR on his bathroom mirror. My friend had a good chuckle, and I later told him what I had done. He then simply wiped off the writing, and we lived on, happily ever after.

Now according to the law that you like to bring up so much, this is illegal. Trespassing, invasion of privacy, graffitti, etc etc (ask Kax, he knows.) and there are probably certain sentences and fines that would be attributed to them. However, sane and otherwise normal people would not get me arrested for this. At least that is how it is with my friends, not sure what it's like in Armstrong.

No, i dont think you or SJ are the policeman, so I don't consider myself "caught." Also, the issue is very much about whether what I did was wrong, as there cannot be a result without a cause.

(1) What UD did was funny, but also stupid and ill-advised b/c any conceivable TOS would have a provision outlawing what amounts to hacking, i.e., accessing an account without permission. It was especially ill-advised given the recent rancor about proper conduct regarding the forums, moderators in particular. The fact that the intent was to be funny is more a "sentence reduction" issue than a "guilt" issue.

(2) The April Fool's Day bathroom mirror analogy is not apt because this occurred in a public place where others might be concerned that the same will happen to them. They'd be stupid to do so, but that's all the more reason to be confident it'll happen. There are a lot of elevators skipping floors around here.

(3) If I were Elvis, which I'm not (he's a better kisser!), I'd be a little leery of inserting myself into an essentially victimless police action.

Well, this has nothing to do with saiyan. but Underdog abusing his power, and doing god knows what else, and getting away with anything he wants, it wrong. This game has potential to be quite popular, but when you have people like ud around doing as he pleases, no one else is pleased. I had my run in today with the lad, he tried to wall me in while being in his quad (BEFORE THE GAME start), and sadly, he didnt wall me in. While in the process, he happened to wall in his own entrance to his quad. What does UD do, instantly yells at me, blamming me, and quits. starts typing all crazily on irc, saying its MY fault. After a long time of being called a liar, and whatever else he was saying while he was on temporary ignore, i came across a cheat. Which was given to me by someone that i saw use it in a game, i wont tll on you senzuri, i swear! *giggle*.. after testing it out, to see that it worked, and playing around with it on 2 OPEN games. then ONE strict match with ren called the great amazing race 2.map, i didnt think that it would matter that i was testing it out, i figured i should try it in a race before i turn it off. Since the race between me and ren, in which ren KNEW i was using the cheat, i got banned for it. And now, ud is trying to tell me it is because i LIED about the walling part i spoke of earlier. i admit to EVERYONE on the channel that i was testing a cheat, and telling people that elvis needs to know of this, in which i was told by one person that he has, and it is fixed on v1.14. Great. Now, i am still banned for ud's childness, in which he cannot live up to his own, and admit what he did was wrong. You know, its a sad state. When someone who is an authority figure on irc abuses his power, into banning me, for something he did, then blamming me for it. As far as i am concerned, which probably means nothing to most of you, i think ud needs to have some of his godly privledges removed. After reading this forum, and seeing all this, i can state that he seems to abuse his power in more then 1 way. I just hope that someone can do something about it, because i spoke to the owner of the irc.winbolo.us server, and he says he cannot do anything about the ban, only that person can undo it. Anyways thats my 2 cents.

well mak, ud didn't have any powers on irc.winbolo.com ........ there was a reason, he's a nice enough guy, but as this whole mod thing and disobeying the rules over and over has shown, he's not ready to be given what little "power" people in the irc community can get. if you don't like UD's power, your welcome to trudle over to .com and use it ....

well if i was elvis i would not waste my time or energy posting. thats probably the last that would be in my mind to get involved in a matter that has already been thrown through the shit. we all know hes reading this. and im sure hes got better shit to do. hes not the be all end all of desputes. its kinda hard the call this a community when everytime someone fucks up we say ban him for life. i know i might be contradicting myself but i think there is an exeption to every rule...and this might be one of the exceptions. i also believe in corruption of power. y are politians so crooked? the fact of the matter is a gruge is a gruge as well as a joke is a joke.
