Windows XP, Please help

None of my settings save. I just got a new computer, and everytime I try to play winbolo, I have to reset my controls, name, and WBN password. I switched from Win98. I tried re-installing it, but it doesn't work!!!!!

Have you tried starting a single player game, setting your keys then quitting straight away and rerunning winbolo? Are the preferences saved?

What type of user are you on XP? Administrator? Power User? Normal? Guest?

I figured it out, the folder was marked as read-only. I figured it out when my other games didn't save, either. It was the XP Parental controls. They suck. But they're too easy to get around.
