I'm not going for art or symmetry lately, but maps like this one should be superfun for opens. You got a large map, but the playing area and the starts are in a reasonably-small area. There is alot of rubble, but still plenty of access around the map and lots of trees. I also incorporated my usual 'superbase' areas, complete with partial geographical isolation and double bases.

I think this map is better than, say, Bob's Country Bunker due to less internal water and more open ground around the major base groups.

Yes, we need more new open maps. All those Cyrano maps are getting old. Played em too many times. Nice map Arco.

I'm trying to think of some new ideas for maps and the Cartographer circle tool seems to be helping me. This only took a half hour to think up, make and tweak, and it's deceptively simple. I think it'll play alot like X-Man's Thunderdome 7.... So hold onto your hat!

This one's titled: FOOTBALL

It was meant for a tournament, but can be used for an open too. I don't know if this kind of map has been done already... I've never seen one in the active games anyways...

I like how you tend to be original Bruce. Using fictional maps and ideas like that give a real meaning. Keep it up, we need new mapmakers.
