DO NOT get MS Frontpage. It ain't worth the money and beside you won't learn a lick about proper HTML coding if you are just starting out. Dreamweaver looks like a great program put out by Macromedia but I have never used it because it's kind of expensive. I used to use notepad and if that's what you do then I think you'll like 1st Page 2000. In fact it's still offered for free:

Give it a whirl, it's not like you'll waste any money on it... :D

just a quick question for clarification purposes. is this sort of thing allowed on this forum? if so, may i tell everyone where to get pirated copies of windows xp or return of the king, and see how fast this website gets shut down? could be kinda fun. we could make a game out of it, see how many warez posts we need before someone notices

didn't we have a whole thread about peoples favorite p2p apps? I don't think a few mentions by morons on the forum are going to get the site shut down, expecially when there are sites dedicated to warez.

You know, one of my friends downloaded every version of Windows XP from Kazaa and the cops came knocking on his door 4 weeks later. We aren't downloading, just discussing, so there isn't a problem. Just be careful when you find something. Check it out first.

so you can get in trouble for downloading stuff? I thought it was just if you shared files for other people to download. Can someone explain, I'm lost. Anyways, I don't download anything anymore since I'm on dial up :(

it is illegal to use software you don't own a operating liscence for. read the EULA on any software you install.

Yes, 'dial-up' may be the best file-sharing blocker yet invented. :D
Downloading pirated material can get you in trouble because receiving stolen goods is a crime in the same way stealing them is. I'm no saint, tho. I have 650 mp3s from kazaa, although I don't use filesharing anymore.
