Message to Acro

In the middle of one of your comments for one of your maps, you asked if I'd like to 1x1 on Scepter. This sounds like fun, but I don't really feel like trying to catch you on the tracker. Either I'm going to interrupt you mid-game or you're gonna end up interrupting me. So... if you really want to play, come by IRC every now and then.

Speaking of IRC, I noticed that the reason you don't log in all that much is because you're "too lazy." If you're using mIRC, yeah, it can be kind of a bitch to get in, especially if you don't really feel like doing much. However, there's another client called X-chat that connects you automatically and all you've got to do is type /j #winbolo and you're in after you've connected.

uh, mirc can connect automatically AND join the channel automatically ... so can xchat ..... its just an excuse to not deal with ircfolk that he says he's "to lazy" ...... at least in my opinion .... I'm not even that lazy

Shoulda put that 1x1 request in match ups. :oops: No, I don't have a problem with IRCers, min, it just that chats aren't really my 'thing'. I didn't really go for yahoo chat or AIM, either. If you want to set up a fun game through IRC, Nova, that's cool.

pfft! chatroom! bleh! irc is no chat room imo, it's a channel. we don't have handles, we have nicks. you won't find anyone in the channel asking you a/s/l acro. of course you will stumble upon a conversation here and there, but w/o irc how could games be so easily organized?

Same thing .... just becuase the same items have different names doesn't make it anyless a chatroom .... "Internet Relay Chat" is irc afterall. I think games could be easily organized without irc.

I question your statement that you "stumble upon a conversation here and there" I personally don't call what goes on in winbolo related irc channels "conversations" ....
